Has anyone run a stock tune with offroad exhaust?

May be taking my car in for the water pump and hoping it will be covered under warranty, but my car is tuned with offroad exhaust. I know it will throw a CEL, but I wonder if it will run ok. Also, I'd hate to take it in with a CEL and they snoop around. Anyone have experience with this?

well, while we can assume most Ford Techs are not the cream of the crop, we also can assume they're not THAT stupid. If you just take your car in with no cats and a CEL, they're going to know you just took the tune off to come in. They can also count the key cycles. If your car has like 10,000 miles and only 2 key cycles, its obvious you have tuned the car because it resets the count. They're going to know either way.

The cats should have zero relation to the water pump though, i'd just take it in as is and play it cool.

I stopped by the dealer today and told the service guy my car is modded. He asked if I did any mods to the cooling system and I said no. He said then I'm good to go.
