14 front end to 12 front end

I can't seem to find the thread, but some time ago someone else made the swap and I'm curious as to what all is needed. I would ultimately like to swap to the 12 Boss 302 style front and later get the Cervini heat extractor hood. For now as I understand it I'll need.
  • Front bumper cover
  • lower fascia
  • chin splitter
  • Hood
  • Radiator Cover??
  • headlights?? will my 14 lights still fit?

anyone have any insight into this?

Your headlights will still fit (I'm pretty sure).

Your bare minimums are the bumper & hood to make the swap. You'll need a new radiator cover as well.

I'd imagine your headlights will still fit. When people have swapped to HID lights on their 2011/12, all they reported needing was new wire harnesses.

tbh, I personally like the 2011/12 hood better. The 13/14 hoods I find flat and boring.

yea from what I've read the housings are the same size, but the wiring is what really limits people. It's great to know that I'll more than likely be able to keep my headlights though.

Now do the 12 GTs and the Boss share the same bumper cover and just have a different lower fascia?

This looks correct. I just googled and compared some pics of both.

That's what I came to as well. Then I read the install for the boss fascia on AM and it all made sense.

It seems most of the stuff is decently priced on ebay so far.

I appreciate the quick responses. Hopefully I can start parting things together this weekend.

my 2011 v6 is in the shop right now. I asked about the same thing. I wanted the boss front bumper and lower splitter assmebly. The body shop said that it would be much harder as the Gt/boss bumper has different mounting brackets from the v6 front end. Not sure if its the same on a 13/14.

EBay and AM have just about everything. I'm looking at some GT front bumper covers on eBay and then the boss stuff I'll pick up from AM to ensure I get all the hardware.

Everything mounts up the same.
You need the hood, radiator cover, and splash guard. Your lights will fit.

It's really easy to swap them. I would save some money and do it myself honestly. When I met up the guy to swap front ends on mine, we installed everything in a Home Depot parking lot. I would get extra push pins in case you break any
