Loud definitely isn't a concern! I just want something that I can hear!

The problem with the 3.7 is that loud isn't always good. On the GT the louder the better, with our cars we have to be a little more careful because the sound goes to crap very easily.

SLP sound good at idle/low RPMs but at higher RPMs they sound like complete crap.

Borla S-types FTW!

Mac axle backs are on sale this month on AM right now for $375

My Trident Motorsports exhaust is coming in tomorrow, though I wont have time to install it until the weekend, Hopefully I will have a good vid of it, fresh installed.

I have the magnaflow competition catback and I really like it. It has some drone, but I don't mind it too much. It's really deep at idle and in the low rpms. I love the sound and volume of it, but I don't think I'll be able to do any other exhaust mods(other than shorties) without making it sound like crap.

I've had the MF street axleback and I loved the deep tone but it wasn't loud enough for me. If you're going to do other exhaust mods, especially changing out the mid pipe or going catless, this would probably be a better choice. Or the Borla touring

I'm not a big fan. I know someone who has them and I think there are better options. But that's just my opinion.

Right now I just have an Airraid CAI, and a BAMA 93 race tune installed, as far as performance is concerned, but like I said I have the Trident exhaust coming in today, and I also have MAC LT headers, custom shorty Hpipe, and Kooks High Flow cats ready to install later. I will just put on the axle backs first, so I can break them in a little bit and get a good feel for the sound before I install the rest of it.

Just had my Borla S-types installed over the weekend, they sound great in my opinion.

I haven't listened to music in my car since I put them on, I even make sure to put my window down before I even start my car so I can hear that beautiful symphony from those S-types.

Muffler delete? Sounds good at low rpms/idle but at higher rpms, sounds like crap. Nails in a blender.

ya see used Pypes for sale often that says something about them. I've also read they often take effort to install due to fittment issues. I have Bassani's (scored used) and like them but at around 2k if the engine is under load (uphill) there is a touch of drone. Fine someone local who will let you listen as in person and online is differant. I describe the Bassanis as European with a touch of burble....with my CAI and them it's a good sounding V6

I have the same exhaust but I don't experience any drone with it. I am going with shorties soon but if I go with an lethal H pipe I'll for sure get resonaters to see if it can not sound like crap. But California is kind of hard on not having cats so I doubt the H pipe will be a go for me since I sold my last one because my flow masters sounded like crap with it.

Yeah I only hear it at certain speeds. But that may just be me thinking too much about it. You'll have to let me know how it sounds with the shorties.

Give it a couple months you'll want more loud haha. They sound really nice but once you start getting used to them you just want them a little bit louder. I'm almost getting used to my magnaflows now and want even more loud exhaust but with the 3.7 going loud and sounding good are kind of two different things in my opinion.

I will, like I said I think sat or sun, I will be able to get them installed. My buddy has a shop at his house, and I have to wait for his day off, so we can get it up on the ramps and work on it.
I am really looking forward to getting them put on.

Roush ab with shorty headers. Heavenly music to my ears. Zero drone with headers. Before headers the roush would drone on small gear cars but never did with my 3.31s.

I've tried six different exhaust set ups and so far this is the deepest I've gotten it.
