Looking for new exhaust

I'm tired of the raspy roush exhaust. I want some deep sounding exhaust, anyone have any recommendations

Looking for axle backs? I just ordered from this company called trident motor sports . From all of the videos and reviews I read they seem like they might be diamonds in the rough. Most people haven't heard of the company but they are 100$ cheaper than roushe and people have said they sounded like their Borlas. I just ordered them the other day and they are coming tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and check out the YouTube videos . If your looking to spend less but get a deep sound these might be the best option

I'm a fan of the Ford Racing Sport axel backs. Deepest exhaust I've heard on our V6s.

Those are Borla S types. ATAKs are louder and deeper

Ataks are louder and more raspy than stypes, not deeper. I've had a set of Ataks and they were wayy to obnoxious for my taste. Sounded like crap imo. Traded for stypes and I love em.

To add to this, the Ataks by themselves some people can live with. But if you plan on doing long tubes or changing your mid pipe, this is when the ATAKS get stupid loud. So you might want to go with something with a deeper tone to start with so you don't get something loud and raspy in the end. You don't want to catch the wrong attention (police)

Probably stay away from ATAKs and Roush mufflers if you plan on doing longtubes and X Pipe. LOL

Shorty headers can mellow out the Ataks just a tad. If you REALLY wanted them.

Im doing longtubes and a High flow catted Hpipe on the tridents in June sometime, If you are in no real hurry to get another exhaust, you could always wait to here what mine sounds like.

I have ATAKs with shorty headers and they are guaranteed deeper and less raspy than any exhaust set up you have or have heard on our cars

Lol except they do not sound the same on the v6 as they do on the v8....... but they do sound pretty good on the v6, just too loud for my taste.

yeah, they're pretty loud and obnoxious, but i like mine haha. i got mine on a whim because someone sold them to me used, and they were already past the breakin mileage so i figured why not. i was always looking at s-types, but nowadays when i watch videos, i hear absolutley NO difference between atak and s-types..they sound identical to me.

Just ordered a Borla s type cat back system for a 2015 GT vert. I've seen some good reviews and like the way they sound online. Looking forward to enjoying it!

I just took Ford Racing sports off my car. They sounded great accelerating but my god the drone in a three hour drive drove me insane. Got my stockers back on for now. May try the touring.

Yeah if you still have the cats on it won't be obnoxiously loud but its should give it deeper tone for sure.

Or you looking to get borlas

I wouldn't do SLP on a 3.7, but that's just me. Ive had the Mac Axle back, Borla ATAK and I now have the Borla S type. The Mac sounded the best but had some serious drone. The ATAK sound great too but are just a little to loud for my taste. The S Type is a good middle of the road AB. Im really happy with it.
