Did you black out your grille pony? The filter is hurting my eyes! LOL

Any thoughts on upcoming mods?

Agreed! You think about dipping the chrome grille surround also? Here's mine to give you a look.

Those turned out way better than when I did mine last year. Mine was just a test run to see if I liked the black look anyway before I bought my new wheels. I did way better dipping the chrome surround and back emblem then my wheels.

Come on guys, call it what it is. Instead of "I dipped my wheels". Just say, "I took a $7 can of rattle can paint and sprayed my Mustang"

Better than spending a grand for new whees/tires.

Looks great man! I'm not a huge fan of red, but the red/black scheme always has me taking a second look. Well done!

Mine was $6! Lol. Plus, I think it's a great temporary look. Would I dip my whole car, no. But when done right I really don't think it's that bad myself. I know it's not for everyone but some people like it, some don't, some are in the middle. At least it's not permanent so people can change their mind if they don't like it without it costing much money at all. Just my 2 cents.

Only problem is that it doesn't just "wash" off. It was a ***** to take my plasti dip off. Took my hours and never want to do that ever again lol. I wish it would just peel off better but I guess you can't have the best of both worlds.

You didn't apply enough plastidip if it didn't peel right off. If you put enough coats, removal becomes extremely easy.

Yeah I guess so, I've removed plasti dip 2 times with both being really hard to remove 😑

I've put 4 costs on mine! Seems like I've got enough on there to make removal easy! Let's hope so at least!

Plasti-dip = kryptonite for this guy. Let it go man. Let it go. Dip is going to happen weather you like it or not.

Little bit of dip is a great cost effective way to change the look of ones wheels. Like my dip

Have a great day!

I did my wheels to see how they would look in flat black, so I can get them powder coated, I peeled it off right after I was done.

Not a bad appearance mod, definitely worth the money. Looks good on all the cars posted. I think it works very well with that silver paint.

I got quoted $70 per wheel. So $280 total.
It's going to be different from place to place though.

I would just save that money towards new rims and stay with plastidip for the stock rims... because the v6 stock rims are about as ugly as one can get lol. Don't waste money powdercoating them!
