Dome light/map light

So I have the raxiom LED installed inside my mustang and it was a very hot day today and when I got back into my mustang and turned it on I started driving and realized my lights wouldn't turn off. So I came home and unplugged the whole unit and plugged it back in and still lights are on. So I installed the factory bulbs and still the lights won't turn off, even with any combination of pushing the on/off button and locking my car and unlocking. I'm guessing somthing fused together...anyone else run into this by chance??

Dome light/map light

Take it to a dealership if you have warranty and they should handle this situation for you

Make sure the dimmer switch isn't turned all the way up. If you turn it all the way up and it clicks it turns on the dome light. Another possible cause is when you lock your car does it click once or twice? If it clicks twice then a door or trunk is likely open causing it to stay on.

If it's not the dimmer switch, it could be a stuck relay. Check the manual to determine which one it is.

Yeah, that dimmer switch caught me out once too. In addition to the dome lights, if you have the Pony puddle light package, it turns and keeps them on too. Since I was standing outside the car, and I have tinted the windows, I didn't notice that the dome lights were also staying on.
