Well thank you! Definitely reassuring to hear some people think it sounds fine.. Maybe after headers I'll be more satisfied..

Drone isn't bad at all in my opinion.

YouTube mustang v6 with bbk short headers and roush axle back.

I found a video it's a black guy going up and down the road in a neighborhood. Car is white I believe. That video played through good speakers made me buy the headers lol. It sounds 5x better in person but if you find that video it's my set up

I can't find it.. :/

Didn't you advise against the BBKs due to the welding quality?

Don't let one person scare you away from BBK. They are a good company and makes lots of great products for Mustangs as well as other cars. I have had them for a few months now and all is good with mine.

I love my bbk headers but the weld quality sucks. If you can fix this ahead of time like I did. I'm a weld inspector and can weld than no biggie.

If you could go back would you do the BBK headers again or try the macs?

Youre totally over thinking this. They really are almost identical. Macs are a little easier to install because of the bends in the pipes. Trust me, Ive been to Mac, everything they do there isn't perfect. I bet if you did a search on parts between BBK and Mac, Mac will probably have more complaints. They are both very good. If youre not in Cali just get the Mac's. If I didn't live here I would have.
