Further upgrades or hold

Hello

I read this forum 3 days week.
I had planned on replacing the drive shaft and possible installing axle back exhaust on the 2011. I have the money in my stash to complete these upgrades right now

I just came to the conclusion that I am happy with the way my car drives ( plenty fast) so why should I keep throwing money at upgrades chasing demons that I will never catch. So the 2011 will continue to be my weekend and road trip driver as I set my sights on ordering a new 2016 or 2017.

If I had to pick one upgrade that I am the most please with it would be BAMA Performance 89 Tune, the CAI would be my 2nd choice and the Raxiom GPS would be number 3.

Very nice. I plan on keeping my car for 2-3 years at a minimum. At 8 months right now. I need to get these noises with my gears and headers fixed. Then I have a couple more big mods and then I am done. Until it comes time to upgrade. Just like you, after this year I will be saving for a newer GT. Whenever that is...

Because there is only so far you can take an N/A V6 before going FI. No matter how much you mod, if a GT is what you originally wanted, then you will never be satisfied with a V6. This is what I tell myself anyways. Not sure if you are wanting a newer EcoStang, V6, or GT.

Modding a car is always a waste of money, but we do it for the love of our cars. I will have my car for a long time so I want to make it something very nice. If you're happy with the performance leave it be and do some appearance mods.

True. Everyone is different. I am always in to the latest technologies and stuff. So I am always interested to upgrade eventually. Or even take one for a test drive just to see.

For me, I try to keep my mods to ones that improve both performance and reliability. As this will likely be my last new Ford, I'm planning to keep it for a while.

You have to go into it with a plan....but also know you probably will never recover your money! I lowered, cai, sct 4 w/ tune, mbrp axle backs, 2013 gt wheels and tires (375.00), 3.73 gears, grill was already upgraded....I MAY add the headers and the x pipe...but, I got it up for sale. If no sale no problem...I like the car. But I hit 40,000 miles, probably need to unload by 50,000...if I'm going to sell it. So I'm not dropping anymore money in it till I make up my mind(unless I run across a great deal on long tubes) In the mean time I'm terrorizing some v-8's!

Hello

The next car will be a convertible with premium details and it will not be an V-4 Eco-boost so unless they install the 3.7 V-6 Eco-boost in a Mustang I guess the new Mustang will be a GT Convertible.
