Trident exhaust with lt headers

Well I finally got it all put together, and while I do enjoy it, it is a little too loud and raspy for me, so it looks like I am going to buy and weld in a set of resonators, it should help tone it down some.
The set up is Airraid Cai, Bama 93 Race tune, Custom made Hpipe, Kooks high flow cats, and trident axlebacks.

I would agree, a couple of resonators and you should be good.

Thats what happen when you trust bubble gum for exhaust!!!!!

Sorry, but yeah seems a little on the raspy side. Maybe with magnaflow mufflers, it may tone it down a little bit.

Yes they are good quality axle backs, they had a much nicer sound before, I think with some resonators they would sound a lot better.

The axlebacks before

Sounds too raspy in the first video.

I just installed the Trident axle backs on my stock V6, and it sounds just like your second video.

The second video sounds great. We have to be careful doing exhaust work on our cars, less is best. On the GT's you can buy exhaust from your local drug store and make it sound good.

I wonder if I switch back to shorty headers and a normal mid pipe, but keep the high flow cats, I wonder if that would work? But the only thing that sucks is, it took us 15 hours to custom fab everything up to fit and bolt it all on, so its almost like we wasted all that time.

Try some resonators first. I'm not really sure you'll get rid of all the rasp, but it will calm it down some.
