Trunk center emblem

Has anyone changed the pony emblem on their v6? I want to do something different and make it a little more unique but all I can find is 3rd party stuff on eBay and in skeptical, any input?

I had a less than impressive experience with emblempros.com but some have had no issues. My emblem looked like dog crap and the guy was a real a-hole about it.

So I ordered a billet aluminum one from www.billetbadges.com but I'm not sure I recommend that either as I ordered it in February and they still haven't shipped it. Called last week and they said it was almost ready, apparently they are behind. They say it takes 4-10 weeks, it been prob 15 at this point. But it should look like this when its done.

I took a heat gun to mine and kept prying that thing off while heating. Then scraped residual glue with plastic scraper then kept scrubbing with simple green and soap and water. Then I went to dealer and bought decklid panel with tribar pony emblam already installed. Was careful putting it on and used heat gun and slow pressure everywhere. I got the horizontal lined one. Was cheap too

Doesn't rtr stand for ready to rust?

The thing with the 13-14 cars that faux gas cap is very raised and a normal emblem will not sit flush. It needs a little work.

^thanks lol. Ya mine is the tri bar pony one and it says "convertible" in small lettering under the emblem . This only fits the 2010-2012 cars. Our deck lids are deeper curved than the 13-14

I got it from my local ford dealer. It's a ford accessory. Try your dealership but just ask for a 13-14. I think AM HAS one like mine but for 13-14 also. Wouldn't fit my car that's why I went to my dealer
