I aim to please. I'm a car guy at the end of the day too and I hate when things like this come up.

Once I hear back from the OP on a last piece of info I'll be getting him a replacement kit shipped out free of charge.

Let me know what you think of the pads and thanks again for your continued support and business!

Well that's definitely on the odd side - Is the first time this has happened? Shoot me a PM so I can track down your order info and if this hasn't subsided by tomorrow I'll get a replacement shipped out for you.

No problem Alex. I had to call like 5 shops in Austin because almost no one will touch customer provided parts. And I cannot do a full brake service myself. I will be getting the brakes bled, rotors resurfaced, pads installed, caliper covers installed, and wheels rotated and balanced.

Lol man. I already bought the brake pads and covers.

And not to hijack the thread but Alex, I am mailing back the old 3.73s today. They are all boxed up and labeled.

Oye - That's odd but I can see why shops are like this, believe me! Thanks for letting me know on the gears!

Idatalink Maestro does. Yes its expensive but its a nearly seamless integration. Ive done a lot of audio work and this one is best by far.

Well I got home and after I installed my Roush grille, I took apart the radio. I unplugged everything and took the fuse out, then put it all back together and now it works like a charm. Even kept my presets saved.

Thanks to Alex for the quick response as he was ready to take care of me if my troubleshooting hadn't worked. Guess I'll throw a 7mm socket and trim tool in my bag in the trunk.

Pics because...

I had the raxiom unit until the navigation card went out after 18 months, so I decided to install the idalink maestro unit with a kenwood 892 , a little pricey but it works and looks fantastic!!!!

An update while waiting on my new unit. This thing background light up and only the setting button functions works on the touch screen. But get this, it will never turn off. Even after sitting for awhile with no keys in it. It will not shutoff. I'm about to take it out before it kills my battery. Everything else is functional with sync commands and stirring wheel controls, but the screen is a no go

Tried pulling the fuse?

Mine would function with sync and I could use the steering wheel controls and normal buttons to get around from memory, but it wouldn't play anything Bluetooth. My phone would connect and I could skip around, but never sound thru Bluetooth.

Every single function works except for one thing, the screen. I tried unplugging everything including defusing, but no change. I just put the original bezel back on for the time being to save the life on my battery. I should get the new one Monday and be back to my normal.
After about a year and a half it looks foreign in my car with the original bezel display

Have you checked the wiring? Something could be shorting out, or wires touching.
That would be the best way to trouble shoot before you start the process of replacing the whole unit
