What he was saying was correct in situations other than yours. Since you already have the updated tune, and the shop is not adjusting anything in the computer, you can just go straight from your current tune to the new one.
Okay got it my bad thanks for clarifying that to me, obviously as you can tell with my English I'm not from here lol..

yeah the computer would be flashed in stock form then just have the programmer re read it and youll be good to go..


you can also get any of these

Differential Covers - Ford 8.8In - 4 Wheel Parts.

Ford Racing calls their piece a rear axle girdle. This is what I put on my car: Ford Racing Mustang Rear Axle Girdle/Differential Cover (86-14) M-4033-G2

Got this one for the diff. Cover from American muscle, the only thing is I was gonna use the discount code but there wasn't an option at the checkout and ended up buying it without the code. I'm using my phone by the way since I am on vacation right now and bought the item while waiting at the line for the ride at Hershey.. Lol

I'm here at the shop now for the install, I'm going with amsoil gear oil but for the break in oil I use Motorcraft, it will be change after 500 miles. Anybody here in mass and in need for performance parts install go with IN GEAR RACING transmission specialist. Never been in a place where they explain everything and making sure that you're comfortable with your decision.

Fml have to go back tomorrow due to wrong parts bearing for my year.. The shop will work on it even if it's the 4th of July the owner felt bad that he will work for my car even if they are close. Bearings should be in tomorrow. Oh well at least he was honest enough to tell me. The bearings from what he told me is not the same for the 2011-2014. If he force to put it in I will get the gear wine. The gears is from Ford racing.

huh? 85-14 8.8's are the exact same gears and bearings.... Thought you said he was honest?

I think one of the pinion bearings is different for some of the later model cars.

I dont know man, I don't see why he would lie I am not paying him to pay extra for them I'm still paying the 250 he quoted me and already bought the parts. He told me that he got the bearings for 05-10 bearings and it is different from 11-14.

This is probably why some of the gear install for 11 to 14 has some great whine on them. I'm not sure but it could be possible.

Yeah that is what he told me, he ordered the bearings for 05 to 10.. He admitted it was his fault and ordered the right one and hopefully will be ready by tomorrow.

The only gears that i know have changed are the 9.75 and the 3/4 ton axles, they have bigger pinion bearings... Out of all the kits i've seen ME sell, none of which have had issues with those bearings, or it would be all over the place.

I dont know man, I am no expert with these but I'm just following from what he told me, I don't even understand half of what he said all I know is he got the wrong bearings on them, ring and pinion are perfect just the bearing. He can put it on by it won't be perfect and it would whine terribly.

ijust looked again, and they show some that are 05+.... hmm

Just dissapointed I thought I will have the car today. Oh well sometimes things doesn't go your way.

This morning and have to leave the car at his shop so he can work it out tomorrow. It will be easy now since he know what the problem is. He tried fitting the bearing in but realized it wasn't into spec due to wrong bearing and would cause gear whine.

Gears 3:73 need help on retuning.

Yeah I was lookin to drop mines off I was trying to get an eta of how long it's takes for install. I know every shop is different but shouldn't it take a bout a day at least?

Obviously had he had the correct parts you woulda got it back the same day

He would have done it 4 hours max, but took him 4 times trying to fit them in since he didn't realize it came with a different bearings until he put back my stock one 331 gear and compared two bearing together with different sizes. He ordered the right one and should come tomorrow. He knows a part store locally in the area. I just feel bad since tomorrow is a holiday and still persist that he would work on it.
