Just an update so I'm in middle of my break in period roughly 250 miles since my gears installed.. This is what iv noticed so far I got a lot off popping in my exhaust especially going to stop it sounded like I'm downshifting mind you I have an automatic. My car pulls so hard that I have to brace myself it feels intoxicating that I an have adrenaline rush every time I drive my car. Gears is my best mod so far.

MPT TUNE, Borla S-Type, Airaid Cai, Ford racing X pipe, Mac ceramic shorty headers, 2010 GT500 rims, 35% tint, Sr Springs, J&M phb, camber bolts, blacked out side markers, front and taillights.

Shu, any truth to the rumor I'm starting that you are going to be giving out test drives before the CT cruise?

Need your help again guys, I'm done with my break in period now I'm going back to my shop to have my gear oil changed and I'm going with amsoil, now I wanted to know what will be the perfect weight oil or is there only one? He is using amsoil severe gear.

Okay thanks Kevin, I'm going with amsoil since they are a distributor in the area and got a good deal for them..

Lol we are exactly the same, mine ranging from 19 to 20 city.. I love this new gear man, it's addicting, I drive it with no reason at all and my tune from Mpt dialed it in perfectly.

It does have a tad more force it feels like over my old 3.31s. Not what I was hoping for but it wasn't a huge jump either. These F1 Goodyear tires have pretty good grip also, I can never make them spin. Only very rarely from a dead stop and that is if I floor it fast. But even in Sport mode if I go to 5k-6k RPM then shift, they hook. Surprising...

Voltwings mentioned they have 220 tread wear and they are 255/40/19s. So I guess they are a decent balance between track and dd? That doesn't go without saying it is what Ford offered.

I am sure the huge boost from Procharging later this year will make them spin.

That's exactly what I use. Ford specs a full syn 75w140 (plus friction modifier). I added 4 oz of the modifier even though the RP oil states they include it, for insurance a some have reported chattering if you don't.

Same here.

Have fun working out the fluid refill while I work out dealing with this treachery.

Would it be the same weight with Amsoil?

Interesting, my old 331 was fine and it works perfectly but with this 373 i can really feel the difference between the two, this is my second revision on 373 tune from mpt and they adjusted it really well.

well youll be going with boost so dont worry about it, will be night and day for sure, good luck on the upgrade.

I'm think it will make 3rd gear easier in the twisties (closed course professional driver) as I find slower corners prefer 2nd and I rarely need 4th when I'm out having fun as as we know the speed limit is 65 (max!) and with the 3.31 3rd gear will top out around 85-90 or so I've been told.

side note: Rob and I are going for a dry run on the route this wknd Google Maps puts it at 100 miles of 3rd gear fun.
