Automatic shifter

Are there any alternatives to the automatic shifter out there? Anybody do anything custom? It just feels cheap to me. I also wouldn't mind losing the step tropic shifting if it meant a different shifter.

I think you were a victim of auto-correct. I think it should say steptronic...

I think TCI made one for the '11-'12s.

Here is a good mod for your shifter

Hahaha. Someone was going to do it so I figured ehh why not me.

I do agree the look of the auto shifter seems bulky and cheap. I know they were trying to make it look or resemble the vintage mustangs but it's a bit of a fail.

As I recall, that Hurst shifter doesn't work with the '13+ autos with the sport mode.

I don't think the Hennessey one does either.

Mastershift makes a kit for the 6r80 ;p
It was around 1600, removes the shifter entirely. You drive with only the paddle shifters.

Thanks much. I was reading where I thought it said there is no reverse lock out? Does this mean there is no button to put it in reverse? That would suck.

My 2 cents, I'd like the option to have paddles but still want the "lazy" auto no shift option as well. That Hurst is great looking, I am looking at JMS pedalmax to help throttle response.

There's a wireless paddle set you can get. I think it's on Amazon.
