How much are performance package wheels worth?

I'm wanting to buy these rims and tires, the guy wants $500. They are chrome buy plasti dipped black. Off a 2012 v6 performance package. 90% tread left. 18 inch rims. Right now I have the premium rims 16 inch with stock Michelin tires. Are they worth the $500?

I wouldn't. You can find the brembo wheels for that price and those look better

What you have posted aren't the performance pack wheels. The PP wheels are 19" with 255/40/19 tires.

Those are the appearance package or Mustang Club of America package wheels. Those are 18s with 235/50/18 tires.

You should be looking at spending about $300, depending on the condition of the tires and whether or not TPMS sensors are included, for what you have posted.

They were listed as performance package from a 2012 but yeah I think you're right because these are 18s and the PP has 19s. Thanks for the info!

I have the same exact wheels, but they are gloss black. The gloss black ones are the FP6 package wheels. I've gotten offered $500 for them but haven't sold them yet because I want to take the TPMS sensors out. That's right around what their worth.

Brembos with good tires go for around $650-850. The ones for $500 are probably with worn tires.

How much are performance package wheels worth?

Maybe I'm just a good deal hunter but I got my 19" premiums with TPMS with 90+% tread life for $275. I then changed the tires from the 245/45 to 255/40s because they're a smaller diameter and lighter weight.

If you were offered $500 for those, you should have taken it and run as quickly as you could.

They're definitely an upgrade from the 17's, but definitely not worth anywhere near $500.

Yeah, I'll probably take the sensors out first and then hit him up for $500 lol. Cause he's putting them on his crown vic

With stock parts the saying "it's only worth what someone will pay" holds especially true. If you like the wheels $500 isn't a bad price for rims/tires with 90% tread. Although some people will list for a lot less because they want to sell them ASAP I've seen people list the same wheels for a lot more so it really depends on area and how motivated the seller is.

Tires and wheels in general are very hard to sell, stock even more so. If you want them out of your life sell them for 250.00-300.00 and move on.
