Why is it gonna take so long for the wheel install?

I want to say something flew up and hit my car on the highway. It wasn't there when I got in my car. But once I got out of it in San Antonio (from Austin), I saw it.

2 scratches, 1 is dented a little.

Yea, I mentioned this in my gears thread. But the last shop quoted me $500 for just the fender scratch/dent. So I am going to Annihilator Customs. They did my spoiler, hood vents, chin splitter, and diffuser. They are doing both for $450.

Anyone in Austin, stay away from Eli's Custom and Collision. They are crooks. Kept my car for a week and never touched it. Kept calling me every day saying he would have it ready the next day but didn't. I got tired of it and picked my car up.

Just got my 15' GT PP rims installed. Looks awesome. Used the black acorn lugs from AM.

I got the black locking lugs from AM but they arent long enough to go all the way down the studs. So I will have to see if I can return them.

These things could definitely clear Brembos. Soo much space between the spoke and caliper it isnt even funny. Even with the caliper covers on. On the stock 19s, I could barelt fit a finger between the caliper and spoke.

Couldnt swap the center caps. The stock ones are too small.

Also, these rims are 2 lbs per rim lighter then the stock 19" PP rims. So my car lost about 8 lbs.

Looks like a lot of room. My new rims have a ton of clearance like that too.

I can never get decals or covers to go on right. With my crappy vision, i get a ton of bubbles and stuff in them.

It's pretty hard to mess these up, real small piece of tint. Practice makes perfect!!!!

Look great!

For the lights: pop them out, 2 coats of black plasti dip and two coats of glossifier. Looks great and costs less than one set of vinyl decals.

How come everyone gets OEM rims? Guy on here is selling all with new tires for $700... Just grab them on Craig's list or forums for cheap. They go for around $500 by me , $350 for just rims

Some people like the OEM look. I actually love the look of my pony package rims and considered getting them powder coated silver, but got a good deal on an upgrade. Similar design but staggered and bigger. If I had found an extra set of pony package rims I would have considered getting them and just having two sets.

I specifically like the performance pack rims the 15 GTs gave. Most that are for sale are the base or premium wheels. Not the PP ones. And if they sell them, they want more then $1,000 for them cuz they sell them with the tires. Due to the staggered setup Ford made them have.

Also, you can get a takeoff OEM rim for about the same as a refinish... was looking into this as I have one rashed rim I'd like to replace.

Drool! Not sure how I missed the thread but thanks for posting up some shots. They complement the car really nicely. Sorry to hear about the locks that's really on the odd side but once I hear back from your (PM) I can get a refund set up for you. Hope you don't mind if we throw one of these pictures up on our Face Book page.

Alex - That is fine. It will be my last mod before getting the procharger. So enjoy my N/A car while it lasts.

So a little update...
The dealer must have removed those tabs as I painted my calipers black and rotated my tires today and they were nowhere to be found. Thanks for the heads up though!
