Gen1 Blowfish Bracket

So I have an opportunity to get a used gen1 blowfish bracket. This is the version before the revised street one. I know they make an upgraded isolated bracket but my question is for those who have the gen1... How bad was the NVH increased?

It was well worth it! There was an increase, i'd say 20% in overall NVH, but being that the trans shifts the same no matter what the car was doing- priceless. Before the BF bracket I would get locked out of shifts through an aggressive turn for example, the bracket fixed all of that. I did have a vibration in the shifter at 2500-3000rpm's that drove me crazy , it would go away if I put slight downward pressure on the shift knob. I was thinking this would go away when I got the Barton Shifter, but I got the BF Isolator instead and now the car feels stock as far as NVH. I would recommend the BF bracket... but get the isolator as soon as you can afford to...
