Mpt tune question

Just got 2 mpt tunes for my 2012 3.7 Got the 93 preformace race tune and the 91 preformace chill tune. The 93 tune is insane so got the 91 tune for the street the wife drives the car as well so have to keep it tame for here lol.Anyways my question is when i slow down it feels like a standard shifting from 2nd to first gear or like it's braking .Is that normal for these tunes? or something i have to get use to. These tunes are great the 91 chill is perfect for the street and the 93 race is flat out crazy fast Any insight would be great thanks...

That's normal with the MPT tunes. For AT they make the shift points more agressive. So when you really get on it, it will shift as if you had a stick.

2014 DIB 3.7 w/ sport shift "Blue Cyclone"

By far, MPT is "The Tuner" for the Cyclone motors with auto or stick. These motors will keep up with 4.6 V8 ponies with the right tune and intake & exhaust. I really enjoy my Cyclone and am upgrading the suspension to catch up with my tune! Really!

Yes, its normal and one of the things that makes MPT unique. Its the engine braking on the automatics that feels like its a manual.

What your experiencing is how the tune is designed to work and people love it.

I am the worlds defender of the 3.7 V6 model.

I had bama tunes on my 09 v6 now i know comparing the4.0 to the 3.7 is apples and oranges but the bama tunes really didn't impress me for the 150.00 that you pay . These mpt tunes are very impressive and the 93 race tune is crazy good .Just make sure you tell the wife before she drives it with the 93 tune lol ...

I have both. I run a Bama tune only if I datalog a MPT tune and need something stable for my DD. you can't beat the free tune upgrades. Although MPT is better for the car

^^this. Also, MPT is worth the money when you update tunes. It's only 20 bucks after the initial purchased tune. I drive a MT and she bites on take off.
