Fender Painting?

Hello everyone,

I got into a fender bender type accident and damaged my bumper, headlight and left side fender. Im thinking of converting v6 look to GT look and planning to buy the painted bumper assembly from stang mods. 2012 GT Take Off Bumper and Foglight Grille Conversion

I was thinking of replacing just left side fender but i saw these at AM and i have a 75$ store credit with them and they would probably hook me up with forum discount. So i was thinking of buying these:- T1 Vented Mustang Fenders - Unpainted (10-14 All) - Free Shipping

As far as the headlight is concerned im just planning to seal them or something since the plastic has cracked from the ends that fit inside the bumper and it cant be seen. Does anyone have an idea as to how much it would cost to paint the primed fenders black?

It looks like the fitment for all these is pretty simple and i would do it myself and i think i should be done with all these within 1500$ with the paint? Just not sure how much the paint should cost me.

Any opinions will be highly appreciated . thanks

Have you considered getting a new takeoff fender? I've seen them for cheap (under $200) and if they have the color you need, you could get away without even having to paint.

I've never ordered from these folks, but they might be worth a try: 2010-2014 Ford Mustang Front Fenders

Thanks a ton for the recommendation. Since these guys were local to me i went and picked up a fender. It was GT 350 take off fender that i bought it for a total of 164$ and excellent condition. I also bought the GT front grille and surround with pony from them. These guys are good. Just wanted to put up a word so that anyone who is in my situation can get one. It was extremely difficult to find painted oem fenders online.

Thanks again for your input

^ That's great to hear! I got into a minor fender bender myself a couple of years ago and was thinking of getting a takeoff fender from them but a PDR guy was able to get it fixed up for me.

How was the paint on the takeoff?

It is in perfect condition. There is just one small scratch which is kinda invisible. Rest it looks like new. I'll upload a picture soon for you.

Thanks! Knowing how easily Ford paint likes to fall off of things, that's good to hear.
