Well simple solution to that. I accidentally left mine on gear and she rolled down a hill and hit a tree. I got a new hood out of it.

Dang man. They better have had some strippers out there hand washing the car. Only way I'd wait an hour for that. LOL!

Careful what you wish for. It's a Ford dealership, so it'll probably be leathery-skinned 65-year-old chain-smoking strippers...

I got a good laugh out of these. Guess I should have been more specific.

Only surefire fix is another hood.
100% what my dealer told me. They had the hood replaced, they have their own body shop and get 4-5 Mustangs in a week for the problem according to the service adviser.

Rear stabilizer end links, too...

Sometimes I think Ford's '60s-era retro-styling for these cars was also applied to the build quality!

I love how much people complain about certain issues on cars and always r blame the motor companies. Yes it sucks but that's what happens anytime you have mass production on anything. You test and test but you can't test every single product you put on the market.

So the mustang has a few minor quirks. My last car had 3 manual transmissions put in it within 45000 miles of each other due to bad syncros. Two sets or struts and torsion bars as well

Car before that had 2 700$ electric power steering pumps fail within 74000miles.

I could keep going here but my point is very simple

Every car ever made has and will always have some quirks. If you want a perfect car that you can't complains about your going to be spending over 100000 for it.

I do get the op statement because yes ford should be taking care of the hoods but the rant is designed for everyone else on this forum that constantly complains about the small known issues.

Do research before you buy your next car.

I just gotta say needing a new transmission every 45k ain't a quirk.
