APW has the JBA headers for $471, right now. If you can get the new customer discount of 20%, you will be paying $377. If you sign up with APW, and put the JBA HEADERS in your shopping cart, and just not finish the order, they might send you the 20% incentive discount. That's what I did.

How did you find the 20% coupon? Did you do the install yourself too? Worth the money in your opinion?

On jba website they only list long tube for our car. Not sure if they hard shortys or not. I would be hesitant to buy because they don't say what stainless steel they use. If there using 409 stainless steel I would not purchase it as it will still oxidize and corrode away. If it is made of 304 stainless you'll be fine.

JBA does make shorty headers for our cars. In fact, they are CARB approved.
Who makes shorty headers of 304 SS?

Well I put them on just a few weeks after I got the car and they were the very first thing I did. So I really didn't have a feel for the car yet to compare them.
On a side note, I feel I made a mistake when I put on the Borla touring mufflers. Should have went with the Borla S. Then I added the ProChamber mid-pipe to deepen the sound, which it did, but I think it made it quieter as well.

EDIT: Oh BTW...I didn't have any quality problems with mine. All the welds looked good to me.

Off hand I'm not sure. But if anyone does those would be the ****. Anything else will eventually rust due to the material there made of. I replace my headers every three years anyways so I don't care if they rust because I swap them out so often.

I get the impression most headers are not of stn stl but rather are either chromed or ceramic coated steel.
I think where people should be careful about the type of stn stl is with mufflers. Many use the 409 instead of the 300 series. or they only use the 300 series on the tips.

The JBA ones seem to be the only ones that are stainless with silver or titanium ceramic caoting
