Resonators

I'm going to be investing in some resonators very soon. My question is which should I get? I am torn between picking up a pair of stock GT resonators (2011-14) or some Magnaflow Glasspacks, which will do more for the 3.7 V6?
I know the magnaflows can obviously be purchased in 2.25" (stock over axle diameter), but what diameter are the stock gt resonators?
I will likely be putting them right behind the clamps on the stock over axle behind the x pipe.
Currently running bbk lth, bbk shorty catted x, stock over axle, borla touring axle backs.
Thanks in advance for any help

Personally I would go Magnaflow. I like their stuff and always seems to work well for me.

What length do you think I should get? They have:
Body length/ total length
18/22
22/26
26/30
To my understanding, the longer it is the more it does.

Im thinking all you need is the 18/22. I know there isnt a lot of room under there so Id go a little smaller.

I've always used Vibrant and have been happy with them, i believe they're 18" and they're only about $60 a pop for 2.5" versions.

I went with 18" Glasspacks (22" overall) for my set-up and I'm more than happy with what it's done for my exhaust note. I've also heard good things about the GT resonators, as well as the Vibrant brand that Voltwings mentioned.

Here's a before and after of the 18" Glasspacks. Other mods at the time were Pype Bombs and Offroad h-pipe.

Did you weld the resonators into the H-pipe itself?

They 're welded into the overaxle pipes, just behind where they connect to the midpipe

I've thought about adding resonators to mine, but was quoted $220 total to have them installed including parts. Just not sure if I wanna spend that much. I don't mind the rasp with mine.

Do they come in different lengths? I'd assume they do.

Now I'm wondering if I can do this myself. A couple cheap glasspack mufflers and some band clamps?

If I wanted to weld in a pair of glass packs to my midpipe, should I get 2.5" or 2.25" ?

Shouldn't you weld them after the mid pipe just before the over axle pipes?

The factory resonator are also only about 6 inches long. Most aftermarket resonators won't fit on the midpipe. My 18" resonators went on the front portion of my overaxle pipes.
