Catalytic converter options

what is everyone's opinon on performance cats? Obviously, a bit of hp gain, but Did it make your car sound more raspy? Any manufacturers make a deeper sound than others and still offer a performance gain?

I doubt a high flow cat will give a noticeable performance gain

What are you saying? To get a noticeable performance gain you must have FI otherwise you get none?

Meaning on a na 3.7 the stock cats aren't restrictive enough to rob power
