How long does it take BAMA to respond?

I've sent 4 requests to Bama a week ago. I don't even know if they received them. I haven't heard anything in response.

Does Lund, Steeda, or the other tuners take this long to answer inquiries?

It has never taken longer than 2 days for BAMA to send me new tunes. I usually get a confirmation that they received my request pretty instantly.

I get a confirmation they received it usually within the same day. However, I have ran into not getting one once or twice.

Usually takes 5-8 business days for me to get them. By the 4th day or so I PM Alex on here.

Hey Ted - Sorry about the delay on Bama's end! I'm sure you've seen me say it before around here that once the weather breaks everyone starts coming out to purchase tuners, submit logs, and have revisions set up for new mods. They're working a little behind but I'm happy to break down some doors and see what the hold up is. Let me know what your ticket number or email address is

Alex

Happy to hear that you're seeing this turn around time - Once they have customers submit info typically a automatic confirmation will be shot out for your records etc.

You're absolutely right on the turn around time - What can I say guys, they're really busy and rushing tunes isn't something that I would prefer they do! After all if anyone's to ever need an update on their tunes the fastest way is going to be to shoot them a call directly but I'm always happy to help where i can!

Trust me it wont come to that! I'm a nice guy here

Ted - I received your PM and can see that you had submitted a pair of things - I'm wondering though as you had said you submitted 4 requests, did these get emailed elsewhere? I just want to make sure there's no break in the chain!

I had just sent the last one to you. #5047140; 5047077 (rec'd 2 auto replies to this one); can't find the other one. The only one I'm really waiting for is 5047140.

I made the requests on the Bama site inquiry page, so I don't know what happens from there.

Got it! Thanks for letting me know I just wanted to make sure - They'll essentially get funneled through a filter and then distributed to Bama Tuners - You'll be hearing from them shortly!

Alex

Well, Paul at BAMA said they can't do data logging without a Step Test, and I don't have access to a dyno, so I'll have to do without a datalogged tune.

Again, Alex, thanks for your help.

Guess that means in order to datalog or dial in tunes, I would have to travel a few hours. No one has a reliable shop in Austin, TX as far as dynos.

Another thing to remember is that you submitted a tune revision request while they were probably doing a lot of prep work for Mustang Week. Usually around big events, it takes a little bit longer to get your new tunes. That goes for pretty much all tuners like AM, MPT, Lund, etc.
