American Muscle Mac shorty headers

Just a quick question for everyone here - did anyone happen to order Mac ceramic shorty headers when they were on sale during march?

If so have you gotten them yet?

I ask because I ordered on march 15 and I've been waiting pretty patiently for about 4 months (ridiculous I know) and just recently got another email stating it would be about another 4 - 5 weeks.

I emailed AM a month or so ago and they said it was on the manufacturers end, but I go to the Mac website and they seem to have the product available.

Maybe I'm being an *** about it, but this seems like its getting kind of stupid.

Its Mac's fault. They are terrible with supplying their vendors. I live by Mac and Ive been buying their stuff for years, I cant count how many times Ive heard the words " sorry out stock, check back again in 60 days".. I wanted a weld in Pro Chamber and they told me it would take about 3 months to get one.

No those have been around. The CARB number might be new.

Glad I decided to just get BBK ceramic shorties. Although I did have to send back the first set due to poor welding. I wanted to try the MACs though.

I cant find anyone to go over the welds on mine so I might just buy a 2nd set eventually and sell the one I have for a reduced price.

Take them to a custom exhaust shop Kevin. Your in Texas right? I was born there and I know there's a ton of shops that are capable of this in Houston.

Seems like an awful lot of time, expense and trouble on something that hasn't been determined to be a problem.

Yea not a problem. Just an annoyance. But the procharger will put it to the test later this year.

Hey OP! Drop me a line! 4-5 Months is crazy and I'd love to look into this for you and see if we can get Mac to make some sense of this for us!

Oh don't get me wrong. I've been ordering plenty of parts from AM and have gotten them in the mean time.

But for an update, Alex has personally handled the situation and went out of their way to help me out on this. Plus one for American Muscles customer service.
