Mac chrome long tube headers

Just curious there's a lot of bbk header pics and reviews out there but hardly any on the macs. I'm a big fan of the ceramics but for the sale price plus forum discount they're very tempting. Would like to see some pics of them installed or of the headers themselves. I've been wanting to purchase a set for several months but would like to find a lil more info. Thx

One thing that seems to be an issue with LTs is that they hang low. I don't know if it's like this on our cars or not but if you're lowered you might want to check.

Yea I believe the clearance will be ok the collectors on the macs are a little higher than the bbks. They are angled slightly kinda like a mid length header. I'm with you on the ceramic I was trying to cheap out lol. They're under $300 right now on AM

Honestly if I was trying to save some money I'd still buy the chrome but I would probably paint them before installing them. That way they won't turn that ugly brown.

Besides the looks, I believe the insulating qualities of the ceramic is a big plus for heat reduction.

I have MAC lt headers in ceramic, and they fit well, and have plenty of clearance. The finish on them is also really good.

I cant really, because they are under my car lol, I dont have any jack stands or ramps to crawl up underneath it, or I wouldnt mind. I guess I could get a pic of them from under the hood side, but I don't know if that will show you what you are looking for.
