Opinions please on this wheel combo...

I really like the Downforce wheels, but I'm a little concerned about the tires. Anybody bought these before??

Did you google the tire like they mention in the auction?

Worst case you roll them for a while and don't like the tire so you replace them. But for the price wheel, tire mounted and balanced I think your in good shape. Those wheels look great

Tires are one of those things that you get what you pay for. Not all of the "cheap tires" are good and they're not all bad. I tried to save a few bucks and buy some cheap tires, they were Fullway's..total garbage. They were so loud it was unbearable. Im not exaggerating either, I had people get in my car and ask what was wrong with it. I spent like 400.00 for some 20's, had them for less than 4 months and they had to go. So now I was out the 400.00 plus another 700.00ish for some nicer tires. Moral of the story, if you can help it, dont skimp here...

KonaBlue3.7 .... post a few pics so I see the color with Kona. Looks like the Graphite shows more silver in the sun and black in the shade??

I just picked up the same set for my 2015. Here's hoping these Ohtsu tires aren't complete crappers! Also happy to be on the forum.

Thanks! I've got a race red 2015 ecoboost. will definitely post pics when i get them on.

Do you plan on lowering your car when you get these put on? I don't want to do it but if my car looks like a 4x4 i may have no choice!

I had no plans to... mainly because I'm doing the Raxiom Nav unit, AL. Driveshaft, and Barton shifter next. But you know how it goes, after that moneys been spent, something else will have to be done!

If you already have the 2015 ecoboost you should already know if it looks like a 4x4. Are you planning to change your tire diameters?
I don't know about the ecoboost but the 2015 GT is considerably lower then it was for 2014.

Also wanted to mention since LMR wasn't clear on the tire model number - wheels came with Ohtsu FP8000 tires. The FP8000 are the rebranded Falken FK 452. Seems like they have pretty good reviews here:

Here they are on the car. From the 10 miles I have been on the tires no complaints yet. Kid at the dealer told me I definitely have to lower it - but I think i'll hold off for now. It looks good enough for me and the wheel gap doesn't bother me at all.
