I'm wondering if the person that had it before used crap oil or maybe did not change it at all. It is rare for the 3,7 V6 to have any problems. They have been using that engine in trucks with zero problems.

69,000 miles is not a lot on a late model car of any brand.
Ronnie
That's a good point...

There are a few on ebay for around 1500 with warranty. Used of course.

WEll we are still waiting on ford to decide on what they are going to do, if they say your boned, im really considering a 5.0, but i really dont know how hard that would be.

IM sure the previous owner probably treated the loud petal like an on off switch and probably used crap oil, and uughhh.... wwwhhhyyy

why own something like this and keep care of it like that!!??

Maybe all the white owl and swisher wrappers i found in it explain something...

Unfortunately buying used in many cases is a real crap shoot.

Always pay a little more and get a certified Used or buy from a respectable dealership. Private party deals ALWAYS hide something. Especially accidents

One problem is:::::::

There are a whole lot of people that just can't afford a brand new car.
They should always have the car they are going to buy really thoroughly inspected by a quality shop, even if it cost them a few bucks.

Completely understand that. Not everyone can afford new. Its just a gamble people take when you buy pre owned. You just may not know the condition of how someone kept the car.
