Wish the factory would have...?

What is one thing you wish the factory would have changed to our cars that you wish would have come stock. My number one complaint is the 2.73 gear ratio. Having a 2013 with the selectshift auto ,the longer gears drive me crazy when im hooning.

Better steering system.

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The Fusion feels a lot more like a BMW than the Mustang when it comes to steering.

It really bugs me that the cup holder is directly behind the shifter on a manual trans. Really sucks shifting gears and then hitting the bottle/cup. That is probably my only complaint. I know they changed it for 2015. Everything else can pretty much be changed out like gears and what not.

The Tremec TR6060 should have been the manual transmission this car came with, not the junk Chinese made MT82.

As someone already said wish it had the tr6060 and a better clutch that weird vibration drives me crazy. Other than that wish we had brembo's on the performance package, we didn't get them but the ecoboost 4 banger does???

I agree with the cup holder thing, that is stupid and I hate it. I also wish it had at least 3.31 gears as an option. Lastly, I wish they would have put the engine cover on all models.

Both my 2006 and 2014 have had terrible interior plastic rattles. I have had to disassemble and insulate the doors and dash on both.

Other than that my 2014 speakers are horrible even compared to my 2006. My previous 1995 mustang had a better stereo quality.

worked out the major electrical glitches before releasing the car...

or not have used screw calipers in the back (I am a bit salty about those right now, as the car is on a flatbed at the moment due to my left rear locking up on the interstate).

No body mounted shifter & you're on the right track but 3.31's should have been standard & 3.55's in the PP. And a big 10-4 on the stupid cup holder placement. Ford's not the only one guilty of that but at least they did something to help remedy it for the 15's

Wish the seat backs remembered their current position when flipping them forwards and then putting them back.

I was about to say that too. Maybe they meant 3.31s being stock and 3.55s being the option?

In my opinion I would have to say a 1" drop or 3.31s being stock gears and the PP having 3.55s.

Glad your back bigshow14 where have you been man? I wish Ford will put there act together and fix the hood bubbling. I had mine in my old 05 and now in my 13 just a spec right now but I know it will get worst by time.

Well they did reduce the wheel gap quite a bit for the 15's.

Most of what is posted can be changed out. Gears, shifter bracket, lowering. This can all be accomplished with aftermarket parts. But that damn cup holder sucks! Lol

The trunk light mounted where any item in the trunk blocks it. But as stated, all but the cupholder and seat back position lack of memory can be fixed.
