OEM GT Strut/shocks

Other than adding a set of 18 in. GT wheels, my suspension is stock. Will there be any advantage of installing 2012 stock GT struts/shocks? There is a new set for sale on Craigslist. My car is a 2014 with 45k miles. I do not have the Performance package.

Rears have same part number, fronts are more or less the same too, so unless they come with some springs or anything its not really worth the money. The factory springs are likely the only difference between the two to begin with.

I agree with Voltwings. Stock for stock really doesnt make sense. While there might be some difference in the valving between the two, its still a stock item. Factory stuff is still more setup for comfort than performance. If youre looking to beef up your suspension look at aftermarket.

What is a good aftermarket company for suspension upgrades for performance and everyday driving?

Theres a bunch...Eibach, BMR, Steeda, Whiteline, H&R. Check out out AM, LMR, Steeda and CJ Pony Parts. All those places will have what youre looking for.

Koni Yellows on stock springs, or steeda sports. Used, this will run less than $600 (with stock springs, $400 or less).

Proving to my fellow racers that the disdain that some GT drivers have for V6 drivers is unfounded, one results archive at a time since 2013.

Wouldn't the OEM GT fronts give a higher ride hight due to the V6 being lighter up front?
