No it says Order number: then the number and it is on the piece of paper that came with my tuner. I also have the same order number on the email when it said my tuner was shipped. It's the same 7 digit order number.

Well, search AM's site for Bama tune. There should be one that costs $0. Get that.

As long as you have the tunes for life from bama, you do that each time you want new tunes.

Will from AM and I had been talking about getting my car on a dyno to do a comparison between the V2 and "other" tunes.

Really looking forward to that.

I could totally see them sending some of us the same tune if we requested one in the past month or so. Might be why they were so fast with some.

I have the V2 tunes, and they are great. Because I haven't tried any other tunes, I am looking fwd to your comparison. I have a friend with someone elses tunes that he was telling me I should have gotten, I beat him with my car on Bama V2 tune.

Clarification required

On the American Muscle site they talk about the 3 Bama performance tunes.

Street (87-93 octane) - designed as a daily driver program that focuses on increasing mid-range power.

Performance (87-93 octane) - designed to add power at 3000 RPMs and higher, focusing more on the top end horsepower and all out performance driving.

Race (91 - 93 octane) - ensure the largest increase in vehicle performance. Using the highest grade of fuel available in your area is mandatory. This file is designed for "Race Use Only".

Where/how does the V2 tune come into play? Are these now all V2's or is a specific one the V2?

The V2 are different. Now they just have 87/89 Performance tune or Race tune. All V2 tunes of course.

So I have to be honest here, after about 150km of driving on these new V2 tunes I'm not all that impressed. I'm not hating by any means but it really doesn't pull any better than my old tune. I'm currently running the 91R V2 and I don't feel any better throttle response down low or any better top end!? I've never data logged any of my previous tunes as they ran good from the get go, Idk should i do a data log? Because at this point I'm probably going to go back to my trusted and true 91R (V1) lol : (

I received my tunes at 11:23am; less than 24 hours after ordering.

This is pretty typical of my Bama experiences. Good job!

Well after driving some more today i notice my Air/fuel ratio jumping around at a stop, anywhere from 13.7-14.3. Is this normal by any chance? With the old tune it was pretty much rock solid at 14.
Idle is steady, but upon start up i notice the Rpm jumps higher than it used to until it settles back down to where it should be.

Car is probably still fine tuning the trims and such. My car does this also when swapping tunes. For about the first week or so. But then, I only drive a couple of times a day. lol

Alright thanks, its been so long since I've swapped tunes lol. I think I should data log these ones, what do y'all think?
Can I do it directly with the tuner?

Anytime you want the most out of tune then you want to Datalog. So if it does not give you what you want, contact Bama to set something up.

I've never had a tune but as I understand it, the older SF3/X3 unit, I believe, requires a laptop while the newer SF4/X4 does not.
But I'm sure Bama will address that.

Mine was put in Wednesday morning and haven't gotten it yet

Of course they did say turn around time is 5-7 business days (wasn't it less than that before? Maybe not, can't remember.) so it isn't like they are being slow or something. Just me being impatient, mostly.

Wondering if people with similar mods are getting their tunes quicker because they already have the files mostly set up from other people requesting them (no real clue how it works though, so dunno).

You guys have made me feel rotten. I sent my new V2 tunes back to Bama and told them to send them to me after all the rest of you guys get yours. I didn't mean to cut in line.

So, the last guy on the list.... PM me when you get yours so I know mine's coming. It's only the right thing to do. That's the kind of guy I am.
