Borla S types

Going to be installing my new S types tonight after work. Are there any tips anyone can offer? Looks pretty straightforward.

Congrats on getting the best muffler for our cars EVER!

TIP: Get a box of tissues ready. The sound of the sex trumpets will sound THAT beautiful to you.

You WILL NOT be disappointed. They do need a break in of a few days of use. May do some aggressive accelerations also.

Done and done. Sounds great. And it WAS easy, other than it being 90 degrees and 95% humidity. I'm impressed with the sound already.

Gah, I want these so bad. Everyone raves how good my car sounds now. It's hard to fork out the cash for Borla right now especially how well it sounds tru flowmasters. I have to click my heels together and keep saying to myself tuner comes first, tuner comes first.

I'm not sure I understand why they will sound even better after awhile. What changes in a muffler after they are "broken in"?

Not 100% sure but when I first got mine, I admit that had just a tiny bit of ricey sound to them. After a couple of weeks, that sound was gone and they just sounded nice and deep. I thought it was me, but I even had others listen to them when I first got them and had them listen again after about a month.

Seasoned them inside with a coat of carbon? like seasoning a cast iron skillet, they don't cook good new.

Same here. ATAKS were too obnoxious for my taste.
