Custom Quads

I'm sure some of you guys may have seen my post on the cyclone FB group, but I figured I would post it up here as well in case anyone wants to follow my path.

I decided I wanted to get quads. I debated and almost picked up a set gt500 take offs for 320$, however, I opted to order a pair of pypes m80 mufflers. I then ordered a conversion kit (rear valance and separate quad tips). My plan is to chop up the stock mufflers, weld in the m80s, and then weld on the tips. I will be installing the valance myself since I have all the tools for that, and then I'll have a muffler shop put together the new axle back. I hope that'll sound like my current pype bombs, but, we shall see when it's done.

Without Quads

Running total so far. These prices include my discounts with both American Muscle and Stangmods. I can share a 5% off code for Stangmods if anyone wants it.
2 x Pypes M-80 mufflers: $84.58
1 x GT500 rear valance conversion kit (with 4" quad tips): $388.54
Labor: $125

Grand Total: $598.12

I did have my original pype bombs hacked up to fab up the new set up. Keep that in thought for the cost as well. All in all I am super pleased with how everything sounds/came out!

Custom Quads

Umm shouldn't the tips be placed the other way around? I've seen a lot of mustangs that have it set up the same way as you, but also some ppl have them welded the other way around.Click image for larger version

alright sorry about the long reply guys.

You can buy just the tips (click me)

My tips are on the correct sides, mine aren't sticking out as far and they're dipped black and we all know how black likes to mess with our eyes. Also the tips pictured above are actualyl angled slightly where as mine are not.

I appreciate all the compliments guys!
