New member of the cyclone family

So as some of you know, banks were giving me the run around with getting a 5.0. And after taking certain people's advice into consideration, I decided to hang on to my 2014 3.7. Instead, I bought a 2nd Cyclone. A 2011 v6 manual trans - Premium w/ performance package and backup camera. Previous guy put Pypes ABs on it which will be going bye bye ASAP. They also added 19" GT wheels, JLT cai, and window louvers.

Took it for a test drive and it ran fine. Its at a shop getting some minor fixes. (Cosmetic stuff)

The 2014 will be mainly used by my wife now and I will be mainly driving the 2011. My main goal was I wanted a manual transmission again. As I found Auto to be boring. I asked around and almost no one would do a transmission swap in Austin without charging an arm and a leg. So it was easier to just purchase a used 2011.

Happy with this outcome as now I do not lose any mods from my 2014 and now I get another cyclone to mod.

I'll suggest a new shifter bracket, the stock one is garbage.

Possibly that, clutch line, and driveshaft. Driving a manual again, i got to experience that ugly vibration again. Lol

Yep, definitely a tune. The bracket is a nice cheap fix to the aggravating lock out problem though.

Haha. I thought about putting some on this one also, but $750 is steep. I bought mine when they were like 600 or so new.

Kev, I currently have the Force II and love them. To compliment them, BBK's shorty, and FRPP X-pipe. Just the right amount of grr for me.

I might try them. I used to have their American Thunders on my 08 and loved them. Figured I'd try to mix it up. Cant have both stangs with Borla S types. Lol

Oh, I loved the American Thunders for my 06. They only make that line for 5.0's now. I've had these for about as long as I've had my car.

What didnt do it for you with the Magnaflow? I love mine. Not "popping" all growl. Plus with normal driving its not obnoxiously loud, bit when you get on her.... GRRRRRRR!

IF you do anything with the shifter either get a blowfish bracket (which is also a driveshaft safety loop) or the MGW race spec. Anything else is wasted money IMO. The problem with the MT82 is it's anchored to the body. The 2 setups I mention eliminate the body mount.

The MPT tune is a beast on the manual.

Sound is all personal preference. I personally think they are just too tame, especially when compared to price of them. In that $$$ range I'd go with a set of Borla.

+1 on the shift bracket and transmission bushing, also remove the clutch spring assist and get a steel braided clutch line. All together makes a much better experience

Yep just the bracket alone did wonders on my mt82, would like the Mgw but with the bracket its really made shifting pretty smooth. And the blowfish Imo is overkill for a daily, not to mention the amount of nvh and rattle that reviewer's say it has.
I've been kicking the tires on the clutch line, what improvements can I expect?

Just saying, I have the street version of the Blowfish and no extra nvh. Sure the shifter bounces around a bit but that's normal for a shifter tied to the drive line.

Yes all the exhaust notes are a matter of personal preference. I actually settled on mine because it was a little more tame. I'm too damn old to be roaring through neighborhoods. Lol

But my second choice would have been the Borlas for sure. Anyway you cut it, the weak note with stock has to go.

Absolutely agree, those stockers do no justice.

You could always go with Trident Axlebacks, they are cheap and have a really nice sound to them.
