So it would seem. Like i said, opinions are based on experiences; i have seen hub failures with spacers, ergo spacers cause hub failures, so i was looking for some means of justifying (or maybe rationalizing) it.

I was thinking of it purely from a distance standpoint, a 5lb weight gets harder to hold the further you have it from your body, figured spacing the wheel out caused a similar situation.

Agreed. the larger the scrub radius the more leverage on the hub. The point I'm making is that it doesn't matter if it's a spacer or a wheel offset, the load is the same, ergo it's not the spacer that's at fault, it's the offset.

Help me understand this. Our hubs were not design for the added stress cause by the spacers. Is this even a safe mod. Someone know the research on it for a daily driver. Not doing the mod myself, just curious

The reality is, don't sweat it. It's not a problem.

Yes! That is just TERRIBLE looking. Best to ditch that hideous thing. I will be the unlucky volunteer to take it off your hands. Due to the way the spacers go in, best to leave them on and just get rid of the entire car.

Kevin, if you take any more Mustangs in, you might have to register your address as a Stable. See what I did there?

Wow that was taken out of context,
Its just my opinion, never like the look of them from behind. No need to get so defensive.

I know man. I almost thought it was a different car once I noticed it.

And thanks. Not sure what cosmetic mods I will be doing to it since the 2011 and 2014 bodies are different. So I cannot replicate the 2014s cosmetics to it. Plus this one already has a spoiler and a different type of window louvers then my 2014. So I will have to get creative here...

This one was an auto so we didn't even bang out any numbers, but realistically I'm looking at a potentially huge lose, around 10k,but its my wife actually telling me to get it though??? Lol.
I'm just a little worried about getting a lemon and losing all that $$$ while my 3.7 runs fantastic (knock on wood) What to do lol.

First of all - Send me your Premium cluster and put back in the stock on.

I would be HOPING you kept the stock parts. So you could part out for some 5.0 mod money.

They know how to suck you in don't they lol.
I was just looking at this one at the dealership and told the sales guy I only wanted a manual so don't even start with the numbers.
40 minutes later, after he gets the keys and while I'm sitting in it I'm like, hmm maybe I can live with an auto lol.
I had to run away! Lol
