It's been resisted twice. So if someone wants it there has been zero interest in it

Well, you will have to use the Ford VCM tool and enter the AS Built codes to enable Track apps after you do the Swap. All of the info is in my other thread on here. You may have to do a bit of reading though. LOL

Ha, I just saw that. $150 is much better than $350 so I'll definitely need to search for a better deal. Thanks!

Well, the problem is, is that they RARELY go for sale. Like maybe 1 every 2-3 months. So I would not count on it. $350 is decent considering they are $600 from Ford.

You will have a hard time getting one of these cheaper than 300 bucks especially with no core charge

And this particular speedo track apps upgrade would work for a 2012 premium?

I read a long thread on some other forum where someone did it. It was a while ago. But yeah, it did involve the VCM tool as you said, and also taking it to the dealer, getting the VIN of a 2013-2014 equipped with track apps, etc etc. It sounded like a heck of a lot of work. But would be so nice...

Well, the VIN part is easy. Go look on a dealership's website until you find the right one. lol. That is what I did. I think I heard that you need a new PCM module? So the car could relay the correct data for track apps and such. Which is pretty involved because you would need to flash the new one and idk....alot of work.

I don't remember anything about switching the PCM. But that would affect my tunes too of course, if it's true. I'm trying to google for that thread but can't find it. Don't even remember what forum it was on... I'm not on any forums except ME so I lump all the rest together in my head. "Other forums". Ugh I should have bookmarked it.

Ahh...yes indeed. I had to call around to random junk yards. LMAO! The guy was not happy about selling it remotely. I had him taking pics, emailing me the paperwork for the purchase, and mailed it to me.

Idk man. Seems like a career trying to figure out the 13 cluster in a 11/12 deal. I will leave that to you. LOL. I am fine with my 11' having the 11' premium cluster.

I bought one from this seller about a month ago. I had been looking for one for about 4 months. They are not easy to find because most places sell the motor trans set up with the cluster. This way a guy could drop it into anything and it's turn key.

Or the seller knows what they have and they want 500+

After I bought mine they listed another it sold same price and now this one. This seller is the only one I've seen selling them.

I find it funny that somehow they are getting alot of Premium Mustang parts and putting them for sale. I would assume alot of mustangs are getting wrecked wherever they are located....or they are rigging the cars. Better check your brake lines... lol jk

That is probably THE best price I have seen them at on ebay. When I got mine, they were priced at 750. I talked the seller down to 600 and I would buy it that second. So he agreed. Money talks.

But $400 to me is a steal.

so how much HP does the Shelby switch add?

on a real note isn't that the speedo from a base model? I know my 12 base model has black dial rather than the white/my color on premiums.

That is for sure the Premium cluster with the LCD, Track Apps, etc. You can see the LCD screen in the middle Plus on the 13/14 premium ones, the gas needle and coolant needle is relocated to the far right. To give room for the LCD.

You paid 600 for door panels?

I see them all the time for 400 on eBay. I could have had a set for 275 but I passed because it's not important to me.

Sheesh

Yea but this was almost a year ago though. They were pretty rare at that time from what I was seeing. Or was the 275 set even before that?

I've seen sets way cheaper than 600 for the last 6-8 months. I think if you had waited just a few months more maybe you would have scored that deal. The set I saw for 275 was probably in December or January. But I don't really care to have the giant 8" woofer in the door so I will just get a nice set of redline inserts at some point.

Yea the door insert for me was what I really wanted. I haven't even connected the sub in the door yet. Lol. I wanted the doors to match the seats because the base v6 doors with the leather seats was driving me nuts!
