Other accented items on your car can determine if this is a good choice. In order to pull this off, you usually need a few other matte black accents, such as side scoops, or wheels, or stripes. I was going to put matte stuff on my 2014 but found it did not blend well with the gloss black accents.

I'm not a fan of louvers except for the flush mount ones. What I will give as advice is to consider getting them body colored then you can plastidip them black. That will give you the ease of changing colors as matching OEM color is difficult. Even trained monleys like myself can paint black.

Body color. Better yet let's see the car first.

My car Deep Impact blue. With Matte Black Wheels and Gloss 227 Stripes with finder stripes. I am also thinking of going with a Black California special spoiler. with black side louvers. if you can not tell i like the black on dark blue. it does not show up great in pictures but i love the look in person.

Only do louvers if it's the silverhorse flush mounts. Otherwise, IMO anyway, they look cheap and bulky.

If it were me I'd save the money and use it towards a set of wheels instead of plasti dipped or painted stock 17s.

Even with all of the black accents, Id still prefer body colored louvers for the sides. If they were black they should match the gloss of the stripe, rear deck panel, etc. Don't go mixing up finishes.

Black lovers will look like you were to cheap to get them painted the body color. They will look like you just bought them and stuck them on. Always match the body color man!

No louvers... 0% window tint. I'd actually prefer that to my DIB louvers.

Read up on matte black vinyl care first, you might change your mind. I was thinking about that too until I read that wax, most detailing products, bird poo, etc will easily stain them and make them look like poo. Plus they don't hold up as well as non-matte vinyl. BUT, if you're like me and do it yourself so it only runs you around $100 I would say it's worth a try.

Okay, after seeing the side louvers on, if it were my Stang and I had your color scheme I would go with black. However, after looking at pics of the DIB mustangs on AM with the rear louver, I would not get it at all. I would tint the rear window and leave it (I got mine tinted recently and damn does it look so much better than that AM louver, IMO).

Hope this helps...

Mind showing me what my 2011 could possibly look like with Side Scoops, black caliper covers, and the tri bar pony fender badges?

First, I can tell you that it would look killer with the badges (those are on my xmas list). Second, if you're serious about considering that I would be happy to do I for you. If you're killing time at work again by messing with me I will take a pass. lol

Lol I am at work killing time but seriously considering these cosmetics. If you are not aware, I have a similar setup on my 2014. I tried looking at the pics on AM but they are seriously lacking customer photos with Kona Blue stangs. lol

And as far as the trolling on the other thread, I am finished. Don't want to poke a bear too many times.

No problem, I'll see what I can do. And you suck at trolling, so no worries.

I know man. It is not my strong point. I am too nice.

And thanks. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Do you have Photoshop or something? I have Photoshop on my home computer but never took the time out to mess with it and learn how to use it.
