Pony emblem for grille?

Anyone know a good place to get the pony emblem without spending $35-45? I want it in black, but can paint or plastidip one. Somewhere in the $20 range would be nice.

Found a seller on ebay. Painted black reproduction pony emblem. Looks pretty good and the price wasn't too bad. Held it up to the grille and it's a match.

Link to the ebay ad.

Thanks! It even has the tabs on the back for factory mounting. Not too bad. I was concerned when the listing showed prior years, but the seller assured me it would fit. It's an exact match, so I am pleased.

No, not yet. Maybe wait until I install my headlights. Everything will be off the car and will be much easier.

Installed the new pony today. Looks and fits great! Used some self threading nuts from lowes. Dealer wanted $4 each for theirs.

That's cool. I actually found a seller on ebay that makes a skeleton decal for the emblem. Problem is he makes it in black for the chrome pony. I asked if he could make one in white and he said no. 😡

Sorry for the late post, came across this thread just now. Stumbled upon this link the other day:
Custom Mustang Grille Pony Emblem Covers That Won't Break the Bank!
Custom emblem covers for under $25. They look pretty nice.

I had one similar to those and it didn't cover the pony all the way, so I removed the pony and glued the cover in. It was getting old and cracking, so I replaced it with what I found on ebay.

Yeah, probably cheaper ones, but sometimes quality is equivalent.
