Need opinions on vinyl graphics.

I'm thinking of adding some vinyl graphics to my car to give it a different look. Something subtle, like fender hash marks. I like the wider ones like in the links below. Need opinions on which ones and what color would look best on my black 2012.

It's all about personal preference when it comes to this kind of stuff. Some people might like one thing and others may not. It's your car and you do what you like to it. It shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks because it's your car and do what makes you happy 👍

I like those too. Wish I could find a pic of the whole car to get a better idea. Still not sure about color. I did buy a can of white plastidip to try to "paint" some myself. I was thinking of spraying the rear faux gas cap and the front pony emblem to tie everything in. I also thought about the chameleon plastidip, but haven't found any local yet. That might look good also. I just can't decide lol.

Maybe it's just me, but I think hash marks are a "Dodge thing" and don't look good on our cars. Mustangs need fat stripes front to back or rocker panel stripes. Not both.

Dodge may not have started the symbol but they're certainly claiming it now as their logo. Looks stupid on a Mustang now. Unless you've got a Mustang R/T

I think they look better if they end not in mid panel. if you put them there they would look better longer running to the bottom of fender/door. That length move them forward so they end at wheel lip.

Looks like a Hertz Penske GT. A little too much for me. I'm thinking about the hash marks for subtly.

Personally, if you want to do the stripes I would suggest doing the full length (like I have) or add just a little something else to the side to offset the stripes!.. Also if "subtle" is what your after, don't do White on a Black car!.. Kinda sticks out a bit!.. Lol. I would suggest going with Grey, Flat Black, or Dark Blue!.. If you want to go a little louder, then go with Red, Orange, Blue, or even Green!.. Anything louder than that then Yellow, and any other color I mentioned before just Brighter!..

I was thinking of carbon fiber also, but what I've found isn't cheap.

No problem!

Like others have mentioned, this is personal taste kind of mod. Any input people give will just be opinions. If you want mine, I'd say don't get them. I am not a fan of them.

I also agree that most Mustangs with any kind of stripes, look good with the over the top ones, or the rocker panel ones. The Boss 302 ones are nice as well.

Please don't do the MOPAR thing....I know the Saleens had them but to be honest when I see these "Hash Marks" it just screams "I wish I had a Dodge!". But that is my opinion and like the others have said its personal preference.

Gray or flat black is my vote on color. That way its not "Loud" to the eyes. White is "Loud".

Forgot to mention that the Probe Styled ones looks real clean compared to the other ones.

For warning. I currently have boss 227 stripes on my car from pro motorstripes. and let me tell you this... they are a nice decent solution but not to for giving on bubbles it took me to days to get them all out just get ready with a small knife to pop them.

Thanks for all the pics and opinions, guys. It's much appreciated. I was considering hood spears also, but not sure. Been trying to find a place local that could install them because bubbles would drive me insane, especially on something of larger size.

If you live in the South, go for the Border Patrol stripes! Makes for lots of fun and laughs when pulling into Home Depot parking lots.
