What else can I do to make her LOUDER

Looking for some input what else I can do to my car to get her a bit louder. Preferably even deeper sounding.

I have the following engine/exhaust mods on my '14 3.7

-BBK Ceramic Shorty Headers
-Ford Racing Sport Axle Back
-BBK Throttle Body
-Airaid modular intake tube
-AFE drop in filter

Now, living in california I am not going to get rid of the stock cats. No way jose. So the only options I have (not changing anything from current setup, just adding to it) is a FRPP cut and clamp x pipe, or to have an exhaust shop do a custom midpipe after the cats.

Is there anything else I am missing?

Hey there!
I ripped the mufflers off of my 2012 and had a shop weld pipes and tips. She might not be the best sounding to others but she is loud and I love it =D

I THINK the Steeda CAI is a bit better and might at to the note a tad but Idk if it is Cali legal...

X Pipe I am not 100% sure about.

Other then that, the only other thing you would be missing is maybe 2 cylinders. LOL

Yup. You can only go so loud "legally". You could do the obvious...which is strip down your exhaust system (resonators and cats), but I personally don't like that.

You COULD try getting your intake manifolds ported. I would assume more air that way MIGHT make it a hair throatier.

If you want a nice low rumble, then the X pipe is the opposite direction you wanna go.. X pipe is a nails-on-chalkboard raspy kind of shriek.

H pipe is the only way to go If you want a deep balls-shattering rumble.

Dude you can't even urinate in a jug and keep it for yourself there. If you cut resonators off of somebody's car they will probably put you on death row

Your Ford Racing Sport Axle-Back Exhaust is ILLEGAL in California. You have a V6, 3.7. Get used to the Raspy Sound. After awhile, you don't even notice it. Get pulled over by PoPo, especially the CHP and they will look for their decimal meter. They just love to write those tickets.

Def looking to increase the deep rumble if possible. No raspy high pitch interest here!

My car is actually not raspy at all. The ford racing exhaust along with the shorties and other mods make it a deep sounding. With absolutely no drone on the freeway.

I see you have a similar setup to mine. I assume because of your midpipe you are getting rasp?

I would say more airflow could be beneficial. Like Intake Manifold porting. Performance and possibly sound wise. Would need an updated tune though.

You get a little raspy but not enough for trying anything else. No drone on the freeway at all. But your looking for the deep growl and you just won't get that with a V6. All kinds of posts on here wanting a deeper growl but it just wont happen with a V6. Nothing to lose any sleep over.

Yea i would agree. His setup would be satisfactory for a V6. I heard a 5.0 drive past me today....it was pure music to my ears.

Yes your setup.

Question, if i kept feeding my car V8 juices, would it eventually grow a #7 and #8 cylinder?

Louder

Put a pair of Dougs Hedders, Remote Control Electric Cutouts in front of your Mufflers. When you feel like being loud be Really Loud.
I ran a set on my Landspeed Race truck for 2 1/2 yrs. and they worked great and opened or closed in an avg. Of 10-15 seconds. But you may have trouble getting ground clearance though.

Just wanted to see if there were any more suggestions that dont involve changing any of the aftermarkets parts I have already purchased and installed. I am not going to go that route. However if there is something else I can add and replace with the stock parts to get it louder, im all ears.

Thanks.

Solution is getting an aggressive muffler design. Go to YouTube and check out these mufflers on cars with cats, like mine (4cats & 2 resonators!). They are aggressive sounding and productive in moving gas and producing an awesome tone.

Order the Doug's Headers Cut Outs, weld or have them welded in, run a power source to them and same with a switch. Crank your car and have in idle with other people around, hold the switch down only a few seconds and watch them looking around to see who just pulled up.?
