I could be wrong but when I installed AB's I aligned it first before fully tightening the bolts. As well as this the metal hangers that go into the rubber could also need alighting

Welcome to the wonderful world of Pypes products. The tip touching the bumper is likely something you can fix by adjusting the catback if that is your only issue tho.

There is a reason Pypes is way cheaper than everyone else tho.

I got the thick walled like Hamptons. I was debating rolled tips but not too fond of them if given the choice.

I had the same problem on the driver side. It seems to be a pretty common occurrence - Im really surprised they havent fixed it yet.

I had a muffler shop shorten my overaxle pipe by about 1/4" near where it connects to the x pipe. This made it so that the hanger on the axle back doesnt sit on the bracket - which is most likely the cause of your exhaust hitting the bumper.

And a word of caution: If you dont have aftermarket shorty headers your Pype bombs will drone pretty bad. Shortys clean up the sound soo much its amazing.

I experienced that the first night I drove the car home. sounded so ricer I HAD to swap them out. I didn't care for what. So I went and bought the stock ABs from another 2011 MT for like $30. Lol

But now I got the Trident ABs coming in and should be going on in 2 weeks or so.

Kevin, I know there are other reviews on the Tridents but I want to hear what you think. They are next on my "to do" list. Let us know...
Thanks

Will do. I have used the Magnaflow Streets, Borla S Types, Pypes, Flowmasters, and of course stock. I have heard the Roush. So i have heard a few different ones.

11-12 and 13-14 have a different rear bumper, mufflers will fit differently.

So maybe the people at Pypes made them for one model. Even though they fit both, it won't look right? Either way. They get 5,000 thumbs down from me. If it wasn't for that drone, they could be considered. But they are muffler deletes correct?

Just installed my second set yesterday. The alignment was after all the hangers were tightened. Before tightening the "only" clamp you have, twist it right or left while watching the alignment in the rear. Once it's in the proper alignment, THEN tighten that final clamp.

I dont know about discontinued but they should definitely fix the alignment issue. All it would take is moving the hanger on the driver side towards the front of the car an inch.

I love how my pype bombs sound with shorty headers. But on the stock manifolds, no thanks. People need to realize that pype bombs are not mufflers, they are pretty much straight pipes with resonators.
