MMD Deck Lid Panel

Had the afternoon off so I got to install my deck lid panel from A/M. The fit is amazing. This is by far my favorite upgrade. It really cleaned up the look. I also added a decal to the windshield. Have a Great Day..Click image for larger version

Very nice. Does anyone know if the ones for the 13-14 fit the 11-12? Are they not the same trunk lids and faux gas caps?

I have this one as well. No more fingerprints and something to grab onto when closing the trunk. Added benefit is it matches license plate surround on my 2014.

Nope not the same. I tried it and paid shipping back to AM. 10-12 decklids are deeper curved and don't have holes at bottom for 13-14 panel to snap into. I got mine from dealer if you like that horizontal rib look.

Glad to know that Pit. I was at a show today, first since I installed the panel. Had three people to ask about it fitting 2010-12.

Yea i didnt even think about the tabs on the back of the 13-14 panels. I assume you could trim them off.

As far as the curve. I have seen people fit the stock 13-14 decklid on a 11-12 after shaving the tabs off.

Are you sure that is something that cannot be worked around?

If you cut off the tabs on the back and put 3m tape all around ya it might work then. it won't sit flush with the tail lights tho because the 10-12 deck is deeper and the tail lights stick out further than 13-14 tail lights I think. Not a big deal if that doesn't bother you.

The MMD lid for the 2014 has 3m tape all the way around. It lays down good on the lid it was designed for. Those plastic tabs would be nothing to file down.

Have you thought about the 13/14 GT/CS rear diffuser?

Yep, maybe later. Next on my list is BBK shorties and a tuner. After that it's going to be another set of wheels.

$200. To me is a little pricey for that piece of plastic. Maybe after a while they will come down.

That's not that bad considering I paid like $500 for a RTR diffuser haha.
