The sad thing is (or a good thing)... a 3.7L V6 or EB4 is a drivers race against any of the NA 4.6's. Except they both get 30+ mpg on the highway.
Sir, you are so right about the LS1 98-2002 Trans AM's and Camaro's raping the 4.6's. The 3.7 or Ecoboost against the 4.6's are a drivers race.

Non 🍼and non 🌽fed. I $uck!

In reality a lot of 6 cylinders get about as good fuel economy as 4s anyway, I've averaged just over 30mpg the last 2 tanks (including in town driving). The 4 is only rated for 32 hwy (of course my 6spd is only rated 29 hwy).

Can I just say that my tune only 2014 3.7 beat a 2009 4.6?

And I have the slip to prove it.

I have 2 cars. 1 is a Nissan 200 SX se- r 2.0 4 cylinder. I hate that in my 4 when the a/c kicks on it drags down my motor it's so power hungry. In my mustang I barely notice it

Well with the 2011-2012 V6's they are designed to disengage the A/C at wide open throttle, more than likely 200sx/Sentra did not have this feature.

On topic though. I just don't see any average joe with the Turbo 4 banger mustang to know when to check the injectors, spark plugs, turbo itself for oil build up, etc. But I could be wrong though. Perhaps Ford is pushing the maintenance requirements on these vehicles.

I for one truly enjoy the fact that my V6 is Naturally Aspirated but at the same time you cant deny that "woosh" sound from an upgraded waste gate. I've fallen out of "love?" I guess with 4 bangers with exhausts, intakes, etc. They rarely ever sound good to me anymore but thats my opinion. I would just go for a 2011-2014 GT to be honest...
