V6 over axle pipes compared to GT?

Does anyone have a good comparison pic of V6 over axle pipes compared to those of the GT? I tried to Google it, but came up empty handed. I'd like to know the exact difference besides pipe diameter.

I was assuming that was a dynomax for a GT? Looks like GT diameter.

I believe the Looks will be about the same. The only varying portion is the diameter. The GT has 2.5" piping and I believe the 3.7 has 2.25".

I'm wondering if the path and bends are the same. I'm thinking if they are, I can get some reducers and bolt everything on myself.
From what I've read, GT pipes are 2.75" and ours are either 2.25" or 2.5". Should have measured mine before I put them back on. Maybe I'll reach under the car and measure them tomorrow.

V6 is 2.25", V8 is 2.5", and GT500 is 2.75".

The over axle mid pipes are the same shape, etc. Only difference is diameter. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture showing the V6 and V8 mid pipes next to each other before swapping my exhaust for the turbo (had to go with V8 pipes for flow)

So yes, some reducer clamps from your cat pipes and the mid. pipes and mufflers will mount.

Related Question

When a manufacturer or vendor refers to an exhaust pipe size, are they referring to the I.D or the O.D.?

Good deal. I've also read that the GT pipes will bolt to the GT500 mufflers, which is what I'll need. I measured my Dynomax pipes at the clamp point and they are indeed 2.25". The rest of the Dynomax pipe is 2.5".

Having a somewhat difficult time finding a decently priced reducer. I was hoping to find a pair for no more than like $20. I'm thinking a 2.75"ID X 2.25"OD would work best.

Are you guys talking about the 5.0 when you say V8 is 2.5"? I'm pretty sure it is 2.75" for the 5.0. The 4.6 3v was 2.5".

You might want to hit up a muffler shop you know and see if they can make the reducer for you outta some scrap piping. It takes 2 seconds.

Actually made a couple calls this morning. I know the guys at one particular shop from way back and waiting for a call back on pricing. Called a recommended shop and was told $75 to make the reducers and install the entire catback. Of course, I'll cut the valance out myself beforehand.
