Yea man dont get me wrong I love the way they look but I would be doing the same thing trying to get them to point up a little more.

I really really really want to do this to my car!

Made some adjustments. Loosened the mufflers and gave them a little twist. Then carefully bent the rear most hangers down (part attached to the muffler). Looks soooooo much better now!

You may need to bend this part of the body underneath to gain more clearance for the tips.

Pics of the hangers.

The mufflers are now really close to the frame, but I tightened the crap out of everything and shook them around and the didn't contact anything. Large bumps may be an issue, but we'll see. If so, I'll figure out something.

After all the cost and work to make the tips placement look good, I am beyond happy! My car sounds so good and different. I love it!!! Now, it's time to wash her up!

I gotta say, I really wasn't feeling it with the original setup and how you can see the muffler. After you raised them it looks awesome!

I was just thinking the same thing! With the first pics I was like, man what did he do, that doesn't look good at all.
I must say it looks frigging awesome now! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Trust me, guys, I was feeling the same way! Drove to my girl's house today (about 30 miles) over various road conditions and not banging or rattling from the exhaust. Thank goodness!

Here's a video for you guys. I had to use my cell phone, so I don't think it really does this setup justice. I think it sounds so much better in person, especially when driving. I'll try to get a drive by video soon.

One other thing I noticed is the exhaust note really bounces off cars, buildings, walls and what not that you drive by. It sounds so cool!

Video must not do it justice, sounds ricey at high rpms when you where reving it. Does it get tinny at all? How's the sound through the rpm band when driving? My car sounds different when its revved (only done once) verses driving. Never understood why someone would randomly rev their car. I think my car sounds like pooh when revved but great at idle and really good when driving.

From inside the car when driving, the exhaust note is deep and clean. It doesn't sound tinny at all to me. It does have a little higher pitch when above 3000 rpm, but to me it's a clean sound. Nowhere near as raspy as the Dynomax catback. It's really hard to describe. I can try to get an in car video, but not sure how well you'll be able to hear it.

Sounds pretty damn good to me, and considering it's not under load.

For it being a cell phone video, I thought it sounded pretty damn well. Yes its no V8 but it'll break necks still and in the Tuner world, I honestly think our Sixxer's are one of the better sounding motors/exhaust combos.

I still think Nissan and Jaguar do better job on the sounds of their sixxers but I think with this setup and Fords Duratec / Cyclone Sixxers sound pretty damn beasty to me.

Awesome job man I am truly jelly of you! But you deserve it I am sure!

Thanks, everyone! It truly does sound different when driving. Sounds really mean! I even saw a guy either taking pics or video as I drove by him in a Walmart parking lot lol. I really think Ford should have put this exhaust on the sixes. Even though I have an off road x-pipe, I think it would have sounded way better than the exhaust that comes on these cars. For anyone looking for a deep exhaust for their six, this is it!

That looks awesome!

Congrats on getting it figured out.

I didn't want to say anything when they were hanging down. Looked like crap then haha. They look great now though!

My mother always told me that if you don't have anything nice to say, then say it on the Internet.

Like I said before, I thought it looked like crap too lol. That's why the very next day I put my car in the air and went to work.
