Has anyone painted the Roush fog housings?

I'm really wanting to get the Roush fog light kit. On one hand the black bezels would match the grilles and lower air dam, but on the other hand, I'm worried about tupperware overload on the front end. I'm wondering if anyone has had them painted to match. I searched and didn't find anything.

I'm wanting them in performance white to match. The fogs use 03-04 Cobra housings, and I love the way the Terminators look with yellow fogs, so I would eventually be putting in yellow LEDs, too.

I can tell you from personal experience that they look awesome on the car in person. I don't think they would look good painted. To me it would look more out of place. If you want the lower fogs but not the Roush fogs I think you should get the GT500 bumper. Just my opinion. Here is my car. It looks so aggressive with the black bezels. And just so you know, I had the same concerns you did. But I love it.

Believe me, I want the GT-500 bumper, but it's about $2k in parts to make it fit last I checked. It isn't as easy as just swapping bumpers over.

Oh I know. But these fogs are not cheap either. So if you don't think you can live with them black, I would save your money and put it toward the swap is my point. I just don't think these would look correct painted. It's just too big a piece and my first thought would be that it looks strange to have all that plastic cut away and add this piece for it to be color matched. Just my .02. And again, I actually thought about the same thing before I put them on. Then decided against it.
