Baby on the way.

So just wondering if I could get feed back from the community. I'm having my first born this coming December and was wondering if the exhaust note from my car would be too much for a baby. I have stock manifolds, bbk off road x with pype bombs mufflers. So should I return to stock exhaust or will it be fine and won't do any damage to my baby lol. Thanks

I can't speak for a baby's health... But off road anything may annoy him slightly... Paired with pype bombs, even worse lol.

When my son was born I had muffler deletes on my 3.7 and it helped him sleep. With my 5.0 now with a similar setup it's the same thing. He's almost a year old now and even with the slight drone it doesn't seem to bother him. I have straight pipes in my f150 also and he sleeps through that also.

It's music not noise to him. 👍

Congratulations fellas!

My parents used to take me to the lake as a toddler, and they had a very loud flat-bottom boat with no mufflers. It was kinda like music! The noise and vibration would always put me right to sleep.
As far as any hearing damage, I haven't noticed any problems, but if there is any, it is likely due to the loud music that I subjected myself to in later years.

Use your best judgment.

I was trying to convince my wife that the drone would put CJ to sleep. My dad's truck when I was a kid had cutouts and I hardly ever remember riding in that thing because I was always asleep,

Thank you all for all the advice, just was a little worried being that most of the time the baby will be riding in the mustang being that it's the safest car we own. She tried to get me to trade it in but I'll leave her before I say bye to my car lol.

Get them used to loud Mustangs so they'll love them when they grow up lol. Seriously, it wouldn't hurt for them to get used to loud noises. That way you don't have to be a ninja around the house in fear of waking them up.

Talking

CONGRATULATIONS!!
No, the exhaust note will actually do the opposite. It's like white noise, kinda. It will put him/her to sleep. You will spend hours driving around to get the baby asleep. Some people run vacuum cleaners to get them to sleep.
+*Just remember one thing, ... Get some sleep RIGHT NOW! You will not sleep at all for first 3 months. That goes the same even when Mom is breast feeding. You will be needed too.
Congrats!! Enjoy! It is the most wonderful thing in the universe to experience. An absolute miracle of God. I am happy for you. I'm happy for you to find out what true love really is, cherish every moment.
Just remember, "Don't Kick The Baby"!!

I would try to do some research on decible levels and effect on baby hearing. There are plenty of apps that will measure Db levels so find out then get in back and give her a little WOT. lol.

I second all of this BTW. Be prepared, Mustangs are cool, football is fun, money is nice but nothing on earth means 1/10000000000th of what your kids do. I would do anything for my 3. Congrats. Mine don't mind but they are 16 & 11 yr old boy. and a 15 yr old who isnt as big a fan.

My little girl will be three months next week. She has only ridden in my car once (we use my wife's, and I recently bought a Trailblazer). I have Borla s types w/ cat deletes and an h pipe. Every time I got on it my wife said her eyes would get real big and she'd look around. Haha.

My baby doesn't sleep in the car. I think we have one of the most difficult babies ever.
