FP6 Appearance package rims weight question

Hey guys just curious if anyone would happen to know how much the appearance package rims weigh? They are from the fp6 appearance package 18" gloss black. I tried looking around online but I never saw anybody talking about the weight.

FP6 Appearance package rims weight question

I'd imagine they're about the same as the stock 18s that came on the GT.

I have a thread in the wheel and tire section with some weights. I'll try to find it.

EDIT: I just looked back and according to when I weighed my 18" stock GT wheels with 235/50/18s they weighed 51 lbs.

So I'd guess your wheels are within a reasonable range of 51 lbs.

These are the same rims that Ford Racing sells in matte black. Just glossy.

I have the FP6 package on my car. I may be wrong but they look like the EXACT same wheels that come on the base model, but they're just painted black. So if you can find the weight of the regular V6 wheels, just add on like 1 or 2 pounds for the paint or something

The Base/stock wheels are 17s. The 18" FP6, Pony Package, and Mustang Club of American rims are all the same. Just different color.

Um, wheel weight matters quite a bit in performance. 1. It's rotational weight, and 2, it's unsprung weight. Both of which you want to cut down on.

It is the same weight for the MCoA, Pony Package, FR6 and the Ford Racing wheels.
They asked for the weight, Fordparts.com sells the wheels and since it is the weight you are paying for to ship they are normally pretty close.
