Opinions Please

Trying to decide which hood Im going to buy after the holidays, now that my rear end isn't all screwed up lol.

I like the Cobra R and the Stalker II

Stalker II
Cervini's Mustang Stalker II Hood w/ Louvers - Unpainted 1221 (10-12 GT, V6) - Free Shipping

Cobra R
Cervini's Cobra R Mustang Hood - Unpainted 1208 (10-12 GT, V6) - Free Shipping

Which do you think will look better??

And does the Stalker II really have a ram air intake? Pics don't show squat

I'm leaning more towards the Cobra R, but let me know whatchya think.

Not too sure what was wrong with the old rear end, I didn't want to pay a bunch of $$$ for them to mess with that nightmare.

I would say the guy that installed my gears f'ed it up the first time and it just got worse and worse

They just put the new rear end in and my whining is gone, theres a wee bit of noise from my aluminum driveshaft but only if you really listen for it.

So there was play in the old rear end?

Did you try eating more peanut butter and cheese?

I honestly don't have a clue, but im never swapping gear ratios again.
This rear end is a factory 3.31.

In the future, when I upgrade to a 5.0, im buying one with 3.73 or 3.55 from the factory.

Lol Cheese and lot of Coffee

What happened with yours? I haven't been on here much lately. Did you have to replace a bunch of crap?

With today being Tuesday, I'll say Stalker II. If it was Sunday, I'd say that twice. Hands down brother, Stalker.

All these stalker comments are starting to convince me.

Originally the Stalker was my favorite, then I thought it wasn't a ram type hood so I changed my mind

You just have make sure that whoever is doing your gears knows what they are doing and how to set them up properly.

3.55s are the perfect gear for our 3.7s IMO. Anything more and it would be too much. Love my 3.55s

Lava - It's no surprise I'm going to side with everyone in here and say shoot for the Stalker - It's hand down just a nicer looking hood. Fantastic lines like it could've come out of Ford.

To answer your question this is indeed fully functional;

Let me know if you have any questions and if you'd like a quote set up drop me a line and we'll go from there.

Just ask around your area of a good place to go.

The guy I went to claims he has done over 200 gear swaps, but I call BS. E obviously did something wrong for it to get that bad. I don't drive my car like a maniac, I treated it right and broke the gears in like everyone says

If your going to spend that much money with the prep, paint and installation you need to get that stalker II hood.
The other one is almost like the hood you already have. You probably would have to point it out to people that you even change it.

Stalker 2. I just installed mine. Bought it unpainted and installed it so it could cure with engine heat. Once I feel it's ready for paint, I'll send it in. I get looks all day with it on.

If you like the Stalker II what about the Trufiber?

2010-2012 Mustang Fiberglass A61 Hood (V6/GT)

Little more... flowy for the ram air than the Cervinis is.

Agree with scotty. The only reason I didn't go with Trufiber is the vents don't redirect the rain water. The cervini does, or, at least mine does. Cervini doesn't include the ram air that feeds cold air to the CAI. But Trufiber does. So it's personal choice.

The ram air is totally pointless. What you get maybe a few hp at 80mph? Maybe? You also get a ****load of crud and bugs in your air filter.
