Got to the track finally after installing 3.55s

This was my best run of the day - 13.7. I'm extremely pleased with the results, especially the 101mph because I had my 20in wheels (w 34psi lol oops) with a 3/4 tank and the 87 street tune from Bama. Wasn't really prepared to put my smaller wheels/better tune/and less fuel because it was the last weekend of the year the track was open and it kinda snuck up on me!

Cant wait until next year! Mods in sig..

That is about the same time I ran with my 2014 Auto w/ 3.73s. With a full suspension, I would have imagined you getting a better time. Even with an 87 tune. A guy a ran with had 20" wheels and got a 13.6. I know climate and area plays a factor so not sure. But I do know cars down here in TX run slower then the upper eastern states.

I still have the 2.73s.

With my 255/40/19s and MPT 93 tune for my automatic I'm running 13.6.

Well it should make for an interesting reference of comparison to the things you'll be doing different next year.

Keep in mind this is only my second time going to the track. Autos are going to be faster because they don't have to deal with the crappy mt82 lol. There was an 11 v6 guy there auto with the stock 3.31s? Who was running 14.1s. Climate has a LOT to do with how the car is going to do.

The altitude is a BIG factor! MIR is like at almost sea level and a lot of drivers have their fastest times there. I know BAMA runs testing there.

Having had the auto and standard i think i'd have to disagree with this, assuming the auto is on the stock converter*, because the stock converter is extremely lazy and doesnt want to shift fast.

Nice!

Just to reiterate what others have said, climate does significantly affect results. You can correct your time using density altitude (DA) to better compare times from different locations and weather conditions. There is a site with accompanying phone app (dragtimes.com) that will do this for you. You enter the track, date, and time and it will calculate DA and your corrected time. Just in case you're interested...

Is this regardless of whether it has a tune or not?

Ish seeing you here reminds me. I recall you had a simulation of 1/4 mile times for various rear end ratios. At least I think it was you.
I came across this one somewhere showing it for a 3.7 manual.

I have no idea how this one compares with what you had done.
Do you have or know of a similar one for an 3.7 AUTO?

I had a bunch of them done and saved them to a flash drive .. then lost the flash drive.

I can look up the 6A ratio's and make one.
